I love working with John at Eagle Fine Cabinetry.
He has worked on 3 remodels for me now. Which included kitchens, baths and built-ins. Each order and installation was stress free and on time. These cabinets are high quality and have turned out beautiful every time.

We love the kitchen, bath & laundry remodel that John Rovedo did for us in 2023. He helped us design a beautiful space and the cabinets are better than we expected. We’ve been through other remodels, as well as other contractors, so we have some insight on what to expect for a remodel. John was by far the best contractor we have worked with; great design/plans, explained in details any changes, gave us great suggestions for making our space more “user friendly”, he made our project a priority and John came in on budget and on time. My husband and I hired John Rovedo to design and build a two-story addition on our 1950’s ranch home. He worked closely with us on the design and, with his input, made our vision better than what we dreamed it could be! His knowledge and experience in construction and working with the city planning commission made a tremendous difference in time and cost savings. John’s pricing for our project was spot on and he finished the job on time. You can be assured that John will tell you the truth about cost and schedule. He is a person of integrity.
I can’t speak highly enough about the crew. Everyone is courteous and professional. Their workmanship is truly exceptional. Construction can be dirty, but their crew never leaves a mess.

I love the travertine tile floor installed by Mr. Rovedo in my kitchen and office! It was about 300 sq. ft. red travertine in the French Pattern with a bullnose border. The work was done professionally with meticulous care throughout. The crew came here when they said they would, did what they said they would do and the price matched the bid. The result is just gorgeous! I’m very happy with it.

We consulted with Radcon Builders to find a general contractor after receiving bids, interviewing clients and looking at the finished work of two other contractors. We decided on Eagle Fine Cabinetry because we could see that they do high-quality work, with attention to details. We were not disappointed. John Rovedo has a good eye for aesthetics and 20+ years experience. He has a handful of great workers that you can feel comfortable having in your home.

We changed every surface of a newly purchased (but older) home. John gave detailed and comprehensive contracts for each phase (over the span of nearly two years), so we would know exactly how much everything would cost (with the exception of our own change orders) and what was happening when. He responded to all our emails, even the myriad details in the final punch-list. John was flexible when we made changes, and provided guidance and assistance and had some great ideas during the design phase. He states his company goes above and beyond, and one event clearly demonstrating this was when PG&E replaced the gas meter, passed inspection, but failed to turn the gas back on. We called PG&E, but they were busy on other service calls. We called John, and he came over about 7pm on a Friday evening, wrench in hand to turn the gas on, relight the water heater, test the gas stove and oven, to make sure we had a livable environment for the weekend. Now that construction is completed we are enjoying our beautifully remodeled home. Thanks John!

John Rovedo was the second contractor we worked with during our house remodeling project. The experience with the first one was absolutely awful. Working with John was a counterpoint to that. He is professional and a low key contractor. There’s not a lot of drama working with John.
John is very clear about what he will do, how much it’ll cost and how long it’ll take him to do the job. There were no surprises with John. He uses a contractor website service that covers all the work he is doing. Every change is processed through the website so there is a clear paper trail of what has been asked for and approved. He won’t start on a change before approval, which is how it should be.
I have recommended John to several friends and one is in the middle of a remodel with him. That seems to be progressing as well as ours did.

John Rovedo and his team were responsible for a major update, remodel and repair of our home.
The workmanship, in every case, was simply… excellent. All work was done on time, and met or exceeded our expectations.. (This was our 6th remodel, so our expectations were really quite high).

We carefully researched several recommended builders to do a whole-house remodel before deciding to work with John Rovedo. We checked out homes John had built several years prior; talked to the owners about their experience to see if they were still pleased with the work John had done. It was unanimous; their homes were beautiful, careful attention to every detail was given, and John’s work held up over the years. Everyone was pleased. We were concerned about the higher cost of their bid, but it became clear that the old adage ‘you get what you pay for’ was accurate. The work of other builders might have cost less; but their lower quality of materials and workmanship was apparent. John Rovedo and his crew were extremely professional, creative, helpful, and knowledgeable. His schedule and prices were accurate. Today, 7 years after we moved back in to our gorgeous ‘new’ home, their workmanship has held up beautifully; and we have a VERY hard working house with 4 kids and their friends here perpetually. I love the home John built for us; and would highly recommend him to anyone who cares about quality and getting the job done right!

John Rovedo is great to work with as he has many talents including design, construction, and even dealing with the city and building inspector! I have engaged with him 2 times over the past 5 years. Initially for a small project to do some upgrades on a home I purchased that included new doors, crown molding and painting. John was timely and effective and I thought he did a great job.
The second and larger job was the addition of 750 square feet including a 2nd story to my 60 year old ranch home. John assisted from design, architecture review, city approval and building and subcontracting out the job. My timeline was short (6 months) and we were able to complete in time despite many challenges with the city. I love the way the home turned out and am looking forward to my next engagement with him.

I worked with Mr. John Rovedo for about two years as we did our project in two phases. While I hired them for the quality of their work (my neighbor had just finished a large project so I was very familiar with the quality) I was also very pleased that throughout John and his team were very professional in their engagements with us. They communicated clearly and took time to explain every step of the process, arrived and left on time, kept the work space clean and safe, were respectful of the neighbors, respectful of time in meeting me on time when scheduled, giving me ample time to make decisions, etc. I have had no trouble recommending them to several friends who are considering various renovation and remodel projects.
